Patrick Morrison

Patrick Morrison is the Chief of Field Services for the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). The IAFF is a labor union representing nearly 350,000 professional fire fighters and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel in the United States and Canada. In this role, he oversees member-facing divisions of the organization, including the Division of Health, Safety, and Medicine, the Division of Technical Assistance and Information Resources, and the Division of Education, Grants, and Human Relations. Mr. Morrison previously served as Assistant to the General President for Health, Safety, and Medicine. He was responsible for the daily operations of the Division as well as the development and implementation of fire service occupational health and safety standards, including crucial health and safety issues published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and IAFF Wellness Fitness Labor/Management Task Force. Before joining the IAFF, Mr. Morrison was a career fire fighter for 21 years with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department in Fairfax, Virginia.
